White guy on black love site tells women, "stop dating guys that aren't me."

Imagine my surprise when I visited askheartbeat.com - the site for "black love and interracial relationships advice" and discovered this tidbit from askheartbeat's resident lonely, extremely bitter, white guy, Kirk Kozol.

Apparently, Kirk's got issues with what's happening in our country these days - no, not the war... no, not the media spending millions of dollars tracking a crazy lunatic who looks like the type of guy who might have molested and killed Jon Benet. No, Kirk's upset because women are making poor dating choices. Don't question how this connects with everything that's going wrong in the U.S.!... If Kirk thinks there's a connection, then there is!

In his article, Kirk outlines his "Relationship Triangle" theory. Details of the theory are a bit sparse but apparently, it has something to do with paying attention to your feelings, understanding your needs and having sex with Kirk. One gets the sense from looking at Kirk (see image below) that he's not had much physical contact in the past 6 months, nor has he had a shower.

On first read, I did find one of Kirk's statements compelling. In discussing the Jackass and Shy Guy Effects and why women choose to be with men who are mean to them, Kirk writes, "For them, it is most likely a ruse that the girl will play with herself in order for her to justify that she is the better of the two in the relationship."

The girl will play with herself?

But then I realized that's not what he meant.

In summary, Kirk's article raises three important points:

1) No one wants to date Kirk.
2) If you don't want to date Kirk, that's your problem.
3) Avoid sunlight.

Kirk rules. Stop picking on him, he's actually allergic to the sun. It's a
real medical problem, I can show you the documentation.
Kirk used to date a lovely girl whom he was quite serious about, for your
information. Sadly they parted ways after an unfortunate incident atthe
junior prom, but I remember her telling me beforehand that she really
liked him. Lots. So there.

Kirk does have a point in his writing. I have to agree with him in that too often women end up in relationships in which they are hurt emotionally by men. His explanation of the Triangle Effect is quite interesting in that the triangle must be balanced for it, just as the relationship, for it to be balanced. If one area of the triangle does not develop correctly, the relationship is stunted.

A question I have for Jenn is why such the harsh opinion of Kirk? It's just his opinion and we're all entitled to them, but why the personal attack on him?
